Interesting things I learned via Twitter April 17-27

I have a lot to say about E.O. Wilson's article on scientists vs. math, but I'm not sure that I'd contribute a novel voice since so much has already been said on the topic. Instead, I used this Storify to highlight a few of the pieces I came across (via Twitter), including Jeremy Fox's post which contains even more links.
